I am so thankful to be a part of Providence Church. Every time I walk through those doors, I am excited about the great message God has in store for me. Via song or sermon, I am always uplifted and enlightened by the presence of the Lord. Because Providence has made my spiritual walk stronger, the other aspects of my life, work and home, are strengthening as well. To God be the glory and I thank Him for leading me to Providence.

My experience at Providence has literally been life changing for me. When God called.....I listened, and I am so thankful that I did, and so thankful to Him for loving me the way that He does. Being welcomed into the Providence church family was special for me, because I have never been a regular church attendee. Being at Providence is a freeing experience, every time. You can come as you are, worship how you please, and most importantly, SERVE with much gratitude. (and it's fun!)

When I first came to Providence, I knew that God had sent me here for a reason. Over the years, God has opened my eyes and allowed me to see just how great His love is. The people at Providence have demonstrated true servanthood, and I know that their hearts are filled with the love of Christ. Because of the love He has shown me through others, I have learned to always carry and share His love throughout all areas of my life. My life rocks because my Savior loves me!

I was attracted to Providence Church because I thought it was a church that was genuinely trying to live out the gospel, and all that it entails. It is exciting to be in a community like that. I also really appreciate that everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Even though I have only been coming for a short while, I have met many people at Providence, gone out to eat with them, and have started to become involved in the life of the church.

Providence Church continues to be a blessing to my entire family! My
relationship with my personal savior Jesus Christ has blossomed in more
ways than I could have dreamed when I first attended. I had never been
outgoing or extroverted previously, but working in a group environment has revealed to me how to be patient with others. I get a tremendous sense
satisfaction and accomplishment operating in my spiritual gifts alongside
my Providence extended family. My nine year old looks forward to attending
every time the church doors are open and my husband and I have grown closer
and now benefit from a healthy Christ centered marriage.

Prior to hearing about and visiting Providence Church, I was seriously
contemplating relocating our family to another major metropolitan area. I
value the friendships forged with other Godly men who like me look forward
to affecting positive change in Birmingham. My Providence Church family has
promoted and enhanced spiritual growth, accepting me with open arms. In the
past two and a half years I have been able to develop from a sideline
Christian, to a participant in worship, service, and outreach, eager to
spread the message of Christ's grace and unyielding love.
